Our Story
Knight Senior Advisors was born out of a deeply personal mission. Our journey began with the memory of Meghan’s late grandmother, Marion, whose experience with aging inspired a calling to ensure no family has to navigate the challenges of senior living alone. What started as a tribute to a loved one has grown into a dedicated practice built on advocacy, expertise, and heart.

Since our founding, we have had the privilege of walking alongside many families, guiding them through some of their most challenging transitions. There is a profound joy in seeing a senior thrive in a new environment and hearing the collective exhale of a family who finally feels at peace. These successful transitions aren't just milestones for our company; they are the fuel that drives us.

As a Co-Founder and Certified Senior Advisor, Cory provides hands-on support and expert guidance for families navigating the challenges of senior transitions. He serves as a steady, compassionate bridge to the right resources, ensuring that every family he partners with feels heard, supported, and empowered.
Cory’s work is rooted in over 15 years of mission-driven leadership in the non-profit sector. Having previously served as the CEO of a local non-profit and a lifelong advocate for those in need, he brings a high level of professional integrity and advocacy to the senior living landscape. Since founding Knight Senior Advisors, Cory translates that experience into a personalized approach, acting as a trusted resource dedicated to protecting the dignity and well-being of seniors throughout their journey.

Meghan believes that true advocacy begins with a genuine connection. As a Co-Founder of Knight Senior Advisors, Meghan leverages a lifetime of heart-led work in education and senior care to help families find clarity in the complexities of aging. Since 2014, she has been a dedicated guide for families, helping them navigate the emotional and logistical transitions of senior living with steady hands and an expert perspective.

Cyndi Mortimer | Senior Living Advisor
Cyndi’s professional experience, leadership abilities, and heart for service reflect her belief that every person deserves to be treated with compassion, respect, and genuine care. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships and making a positive difference in the lives of the people she serves.
With nearly two decades of experience in recruitment, along with experience as a Medicare insurance agent, Cyndi brings a people-centered approach to every professional relationship. Her career has strengthened her ability to listen carefully, build trust, communicate clearly, and help individuals navigate important decisions with confidence. ​She believes that service is more than simply helping others—it is about creating connections, offering encouragement, and making people feel valued and cared for. Her professional experience and commitment to serving others guide her in everything she does.
